Is this course approved by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry? Yes! You will receive 14 hours of continuing education credit when you take this course if you are licensed in Tennessee.

What type of computer equipment will I need? Any computer with an internet connection will be adequate for this course, but a high speed internet connection for your computer is highly desirable.

How is the course organized? The course has a didactic portion and a clinical portion. Much of the didactic material will be provided online.

What materials do I need to bring to the clinical portion of the course? You will need to bring clinical attire, a standard four hole handpiece, sealant material used in your office, fine prophy paste, and two autoclaved mirrors and two autoclaved explorers.

Do I need to bring a patient to the clinical portion? Not usually. We will be practicing on each other. However, if you have a condition that prevents you from receiving a standard prophylaxis including gross decay, multiple missing teeth, numerous porcelain restorations, or poor oral hygiene, contact your instructor for guidance.

Where will the clinical portion be held? The clinical portion is held at Greater Brainerd Dental located at 5612 Brainerd Road Suite 100, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37411; as well as various locations across the state.

Who are the instructors? The principle clinical instructor is Dr. Robert Clark.  Dr. Clark may be assisted by other dental professionals.

How much does the course cost? The fee for the course is $275.
